Thomas Greeley Izdepski, age 72, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, surrounded by his family.

Tom was born on Aug. 24, 1945, in Ladysmith, the son of Stanley and Mary (Greeley) Izdepski. He married Linda (Wood) Izdepski on June 10, 1972 in Gillman.

He attended school at Marshall Center School in Sheldon through eighth grade and then attended high school in Tony. He graduated from Flambeau High School in 1963. He attended a technical college in Milwaukee and graduated with a 2-year draftsman degree. After serving in the Army, he went to work for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation inspecting roads and bridges in the Milwaukee area.

 

He served in the Army as a Private First Class from 1965 through 1967, with some time stationed in Germany.  He was proud that, before leaving the Army, he was asked to continue on into officer candidate school.  He farmed and milked dairy cows at  Maplewood Farm, founded by his grandfather, Stanislaus Izdepski. Several Izdepski family reunions were held at Maplewood Farm over the years with family coming from all over the United States.

Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends. After retiring from farming, Tom also enjoyed coffee and playing dice at the Sheldon Community Center in the morning. He liked playing sheepshead with his friends. He gave a lot of his time helping anyone that needed help. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and York-Kolar American Legion Post 0136.

Tom is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Brian, Danielle, Michael, Shaun and Derren, and their spouses; his grandchildren, Hannah, Mikayla, Daniel, Isaac, Maddox and Greta; his sister, Ann Rivard; his brother-in-law, Dave Suhsen; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Izdepski and Gay Izdepski and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley; his mother, Mary; his siblings, John (infant), John (young child), Mary Margaret Suhsen, Jim Izdepski, Jane Izdepski and John Izdepski; his brother-in-law, Jim Rivard and his niece, Christine Suhsen.

Obituary:
Norbert Vincent Izdepski, peacefully passed away at 93 of old age on March 19th, 2019, in Wenatchee, WA. He lived in Sacramento since 1967. He was born July 19th of 1925 on the family farm in Conrath WI. The oldest of 5 brothers and sisters, he went on to a distinguished 24 year career in the Air Force, served as a Sky Marshal in the 70's, and ran a stamp and collectibles business until his retirement at nearly 90 years old. He was an avid traveler, and went around the world, and visited all 50 States. He cared about family, and was generous to all he loved. He was survived by his ex wife Jeanne Thune, his sister Nora Lands, and his sons Brian and Erich Izdepski. He was predeceased by his longtime, beloved girlfriend Ellen Maita, and his sons Bob and Gregory Izdepski. He outlived most friends and family, but will still be missed by many.

Obituary:
Patrick Joseph McCabe went on his way on February 19, 2019 in Olympia, Washington, his home of 16 years. He was born December 10, 1949 to Earl L. and Florence V. (Izdepski) McCabe in Dayton, Ohio.  Over the years, he also lived in Seattle, Washington; San Bernadino, California; Suitland, Maryland; Seattle, Washington; and Fresno, California.

 

Patrick graduated from Tyee High School in Seattle, Green River Community College (1972), and Fresno State College (1996).  He served in the U.S. Navy (1969-1971).  He was a teacher in and out of the classroom his entire life.  He married Elizabeth Land on June 21, 2004 on their sailboat, the Banjolin, at West Bay Marina, Olympia, Washington.

 

Patrick was adept with his hands, musically inclined, and was an animal-lover.  He was quick witted, athletic, passionate, acerbic, observant, kind, caring, and compassionate. He enjoyed playing banjo, woodworking, puzzles, sailing, politics, hiking, running, fishing, crabbing, golfing, reading, and teaching. He loved participating in community theater, directing, acting, and set building. 

 

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Beth; sons, Kelly McCabe and Devon McCabe of Olympia; four grandchildren; brothers, Paul McCabe of Oslo, Norway, Dennis McCabe and Sean McCabe of Seattle; and sisters, Diantha Perelli of San Antonio, Texas, Priscilla Melanson of Proctorville, Vermont, and Virginia McCabe of Olympia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.  He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Stephanie Nichols; and grandparents, Mary Dewey McCabe, E.L. McCabe, Martha Borlich Izdepski and Stanislaus A. Izdepski.
